We arrived Bangkok at 6:50. I haven't slept in the whole fight and now i simply dying. During the flight we met other spanish that gave us pretty useful tips about this country, specially when you are a just arrived.
We bought a flight to Krabi that is departuring at 10:40 and during the time we have been waiting we were amazed whit the Thais we met in the Airport, way of dressing, ethnics... Specially grateful was how clean and new is Bangkok Airport, im pretty sure you can eat in the floor without any problem. We spent a couple of hours with a mate from Badajoz living in Ibiza, that lucky man is gonna stay here for 2 months!.
We have seen our first monks, Budist temples and pictures of the king, later on we will discover Thailand is full of them.
We have went to Krabi without problems. The airport is pretty small and it will not have more thatn 10 flgiths per day.
Now it's time to wait for Brita that is arriving in the next flight. Amazingly warm and wet outside the airport, we got attacked by a squad of taxi drivers offering cheap trips to city centre. Trust me, if you like to negociate, this is your country. Although they are pretty insistant, they never cross the line and they negociate with a smiley face and very politely.
At the end we decided not to wait for Brita and go to Krabi City Centre. Thats a 20 minutes trip that we are able to do for 200 baths with an official taxi driver. In the middle of a highway, our driver found a mate and started horning him. Both stopped in the side of the road and he told us to swap cars. That was kind of mental but, what can we do.... was very funny anyway. Here, eventhough they are not able to understand, thay say yes-yes, they smile and they do whatever they want to. Nowadays i do the same with them.
At the end we arrived to Ruand Pae, a kind of Ship-bar where there is no one. We stayed in the parck waitting for the others after a short-shocking walk around Krabi.
Krabi was bizarre at first time, a kindda wellcome to Thailand with odours, people and places that i didnt enjoy at all. Now, some days later, i think i prefer Thailand to Spain.
Well boys, this is the end of the Blog in English. From now on, its gonna be telegraphic and in spanish, i do not have time for more....
